Steady Steps is a global company that specializes in crampons and ice cleats for safe walking/running/hiking over winter terrain, snow, and packed ice.

Ready to take their digital presence to the next level, Steady Steps and I teamed up to maximize revenue while remaining competitive.
With the rise of similar protective footwear on the market, Steady Steps was in need of a competitive advantage and a more appealing website / eCommerce Store to stay afloat with its Ice Gripper Ice Cleats flagship product.
Relatively unknown in social media, I set out to establish Steady Steps presence on facebook and instagram via paid video and image ads on those platforms. In addition to creating and managing social media ads, I also created email sequences to recover abandoned carts, and re-engage their current customer base and gather testimonials for future use.

sOLVING tHE pROBLEM
As Steady Steps had a very limited digital strategy to begin with, I started from scratch by overhauling the website design. Once complete, I created and managed branded social media ads for the Ice Gripper Ice Cleats. To increase revenue, I implemented email sequences to recover abandoned carts, and maintain customer engagement after the sale.
We didn’t see massive improvement until I featured Steady Steps’ product warranty more prominently in the buyer’s journey, starting with the initial cold traffic ads. Reinforcing the warranty with additional details was key in improving the conversion rate for their Ice Gripper Product
